I'm going to take back my review, but still leave the compliment that it was a great book."Fantastic book. Very good use of foreshadowing. I love the author's interpretation of the book's journey and her writing was beautifully done."
...but I had a bit of a problem with the book, and I don't know if it's just me or others. I just got lost in the last third of the book. I consider myself to be a bright person, able to handle fiction of all sorts, but I found that the politics of what was going on was confusing.
I understand the book's journey, and the ficticious people and scenarios that encountered and saved the book. All of that was interesting and fun to read. It was more or less Hanna's issues with Werner and Ozren that were tripping me up. I would go back and even reread a few pages to see if I was missing something, and I just couldn't follow it.
If someone can reply to this with an explanation (you might have to use the 'spoilers' html) that would be great.
Otherwise, this book is missing a couple of stars because of it.
