Thanks for being my friend, and thanks for putting up with me.

The Pashtun Fixer - Paul Anthony Johnson I'm thrilled to have read my friend Paul's book about a journalist who gets swept up in to some Taliban-trouble, all the while fights with the skeletons in his closet regarding his drug/alchohol/sex addictions. However, because I'm a personal friend of the author, I'd hate to comment making my review seem biased, or give criticisms to indicate to my friend that I found his book anything but enjoyable. I will say this, it's a very good story, but of course, it should have been smoothed out a bit by a few proof-reads. I think the story gave a solid plot and an unexpected turn of events that gives the reader something to chew on with each chapter, and quite enjoyed the unexpected, action-packed ending.
